Agile Project Planner

Key Responsibilities:

Planning & Coordination:

  •     Define and communicate timing requirements to HMI HF teams and stakeholders.
  •     Align departmental plans with programme needs across delivery/integration teams.
  •     Develop/adjust work plans based on programme timelines and late-stage changes.

Agile Execution:

  •     Use JIRA/Confluence to track progress, backlogs, and sprint planning.
  •     Facilitate Agile ceremonies (grooming, sprint planning) and capacity forecasting.
  •     Monitor risks, resolve blockers, and ensure timely delivery.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  •     Provide regular updates on progress, risks, and resource utilisation.
  •     Collaborate with global HMI teams (AAD/China/Portland) for spec alignment.
  •     Engage senior stakeholders with clear, professional communication.

Strategic Leadership:

  •     Lead large projects independently, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  •     Drive continuous improvement through metrics analysis and process enhancements.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Agile Expertise: Proven experience in Agile frameworks (Scrum/Kanban) and tools (JIRA/Confluence).
  • Technical Planning: Background in delivering technical products in complex organisations.
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal skills; adept at stakeholder management at all levels.
  • Organisational Skills: Exceptional time management, analytical mindset, and attention to detail.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, or related field.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience in the automotive industry.
  • Agile certifications (e.g., SAFe, CSM).
  • Familiarity with Lean/DevOps practices.

Soft Skills:

  • Adaptability in fast-paced environments.
  • Collaborative problem-solving.
  • Ability to balance strategic vision with tactical execution.
